A haunting composition by Ivo Saliger shows a doctor supporting the limp, nude body of a young woman, his face weighed down with sorrow and quiet dread. As he steadies her, he subtly tries to push away the skeletal figure of Death that clings to her, resisting its claim. The skeleton leans in regardless, its presence calm yet inevitable, intensifying the scene’s eerie, helpless tension.
